The single-mode or multi-mode optical fiber is sheathed in a loose tube made of high modulus polyester material, and the tube is filled with a waterproof compound. The center of the cable core is a metal reinforced core. For optical cables with certain cores, a layer of polyethylene (PE) needs to be squeezed outside the metal reinforced core. The loose tube (and filling rope) is twisted around the central reinforcing core to form a compact circular cable core, and the gaps in the cable core are filled with water blocking fillers. Plastic coated aluminum tape (APL) is longitudinally wrapped and then extruded with a layer of polyethylene inner sheath, and then after single-layer or double-layer thin round steel wire armor, the polyethylene outer sheath is finally extruded into a cable.
Features:
1. The full-section water-blocking structure ensures good water-blocking and moisture-proof performance;
2. The loose tube is filled with special grease to protect the optical fiber critically;
3. The phosphating steel wire center reinforcement has high modulus and corrosion resistance;
4. Vertically wrapped double-sided coated wrinkled aluminum tape, thin round steel wire wrapped armor, to ensure that the optical cable is mechanically resistant to compression and tension, and meets the application requirements of climbing, direct burial, and submarine underwater laying;
